I just realized that I don't show my singing on here as much as I should. Lol
last night was the first time jasper came to bed in quite some time, after over a week of no cats at bedtime. (molly has been coming in for cuddles in the early morning.) so, OF COURSE, molly came to bed right away tonight, and i got her settled. then, jasper arrived and immediately stepped on her. she left, he did biscuits for half a minute and then he left. 🙄
no yelling so far. 🤞
molly has come to bed. no muss, no fuss. 🤞🤞🤞
both cats followed me to bed. molly had just started her settle in routine when jasper showed up and she ran off. now he's settled in and she's yelling in the closet. (I'm so tired on my third week of new job and just want to sleep. 😭😭😭)
jasper came to bed for a few hours last night, until something spooked him and he left
whhhyyyy... after several nights of no shenanigans, molly is yelling in the closet.
we can only go a few days without shenanigans, apparently.
molly followed me to bed, and let me settle her in, but then jasper appeared and molly left (no yelling) and i fell asleep around 10pm.
fast forward to 2am, molly wakes me up yelling in the closet and then starts alternating between bothering me to be let into the covers and yelling in the closet (for hours). finally, with some effort, i get her settled next to me, but then jasper arrives (attracted by all the hustle bustle) and molly leaves and starts yelling in the closet again. jasper settles on my other side for a while, but leaves when he hears molly yelling (again), there's hissing in the closet, and then blessed silence, and i manage to get back to sleep around 5.
5:30ish molly comes back and wakes me up pawing at the covers, and lets me settle her right in and go back to sleep. alarm at 6:30.
