So, what if something comes up at Greenport so Tony has to bring Peter along to his dentist appointment? Stephen was supposed to watch Peter for the day so Tony can go to his appointment, but plans changed.
Tony has to reassure Peter numerous times that he’s not the one getting this teeth poked at. Still, Peter is uneasy and stays close to his Daddy as they venture out to the dental clinic meant for caregivers and neutrals.
It’s odd to see a High Care Little in such a place, and Peter gets many curious glances sent his way. The receptionist at the front desk compliments his cute dungareens. When it’s Tony’s turn, he carries Peter in and greets the dental nurse and eventually the dentist.
“I’m sorry, the plan was that I’d come alone, but something came up.”
“Oh, no worries. He’s real cute.” The dentist compliments. Peter squirms in his seat next to Daddy who’s in the dental chair.
But, when the dentist starts checking Daddy’s teeth, Peter grows anxious. His Daddy can’t really talk, nor can they have eye contact and Peter can’t stand it. He starts whimpering and complaining, and the only way he’ll calm down is that he gets to lay on his Daddy’s torso. Tony pats at Peter’s back and bum in a soothing way, and the boy quiets down.
“Daddy, does it feel funny?”
Daddy’s reply is just gurgles and mumbles, and Peter giggles while cuddling up to Daddy.
Luckily, Tony’s teeth are all well and healthy and the pair get to leave soon enough. However, while paying for his appointment, Tony has to wrangle Peter’s curious little fingers from his face.
“No, open up, Dada! Gotta see!”
“No, the dentist just did. It’s all good in there, baby.”
“But, I wanna see!”
“You’re a dentist now too, huh? How about we play some dentist when we get back to Greenport instead?”
“Yeah!”
tony wants a cat but hes allerigc so peter being the best boyfriend he is gets some stuff to become for feline (this is such a bad way of just saying starker pet play😭 im trying)
