As y'all know by now probably i am the cunt that creates tons of transformers AUs based largely on fairytales and mythology or media inspired by the latter and then creates moodboards and occasionally One Shot fics to go along with those.
Now I have been swirling the idea for a Transformers AU based on the book "Castle in the Air" by Diana Wynne Jones. The woman who also wrote the original How's moving castle book. Now CitA is a "subversion" of the classical fairytale of Aladdin and the magic lamp.
The story features Abdullah, a young carpet merchant who tends to spend most of his days daydreaming (bordering on maladaptive daydreaming) to cope with the mundanity of his real life. One day a man comes to his shop and offers to sell him a magical flying carpet, and despite his suspicions that it might be a scam, Abdullah decides to buy the carpet. This eventually leads to Abdullah meeting the Sultan of Zansib's daughter, Princess Flower-in-the-Night. The princess however had never seen another man before in her life apart from her father the sultan. For the sultan had raised her in complete isolation because of a
prophecy that said she'd marry the very first man she sees that was not her own flesh and blood. So of course Abdullah and Princess Flower-in-the-night fall in love and promise to run away together.
But one night of their elopement Princess Flower-in-the-Night gets kidnapped by a bad-tempered Genie and Abdullah, with the help of a sleezy soldier, who is looking for his own missing princess, the magic carpet and a cheeky genie of his own must set out on a quest to rescue his beloved.
Now I cannot decide what ship to use for a transformers AU based on this story. So please vote in the poll which ship you’d love to see in an AU based on this story.
Something, something where Starscream tries to woo Windblade, but Windblade seems to have her eye on B-127, but B-127 is focused solely on being Optimus's left hand and third in command (Elita being the right hand and second in command) and on helping to rebuild Cybertron now that the war is over, and this bot hasn't had a single day in his life where he can think about what he wants for himself, so he doesn't even know if he likes Windblade, so he refuses to acknowledge the flirting, and Starscream sees this and wants to kill him because he would die to be in his place, but he won't be because the person he loves loves someone else, and that someone else is B-127.
Basically... Angst :D
