Beech nut tree
We have a beech nut tree in our yard. The “fruit” that grows is like a rock. Unbreakable. Even the squirrels don’t bother with them. Today (September 15, 2022) I noticed how they puke out their seeds. Three photos tell the story, in sequence from just busting apart to full puking. Almost alien.
