"BEECYCLES"
by Matt Lively
With roots in Virginia where he studied at Virginia Commonwealth University, Matt Lively lives in Richmond and works out of a 140-year-old barn. When not creating a diverse body fine art work for galleries or teaching art to the next generation Lively stays busy painting public projects and his popular "Beecycles" pieces can be found fluttering around Virginia. These busy bees are at Cary St and Davis Ave in Richmond and are one of the last remaining art installations from the 2013 edition of the @RVAStreetArtFest which transformed an unused trolley depot—now the site of new housing in an increasingly popular neighborhood. @mattlively/
