WHY SAY IT LIKE THAT YOU JERK
That's me, a jerk.
2/14/19.
Permanent Slump Records (England) is the project of Chris Hopkins and he’s really released some great music over the last few years. His own project, The Bin Bags, is fantastic guitar-noodling pop.
In late 2017, The Bin Bags and Beef Jerk (Australia) met in Edinburgh, Scotland while sharing a billing. They struck up a friendship and then next thing you know we’ve got ourselves a supergroup - Binge Hinge (Chris Hopkins, Jack Lee, and Steph Ohlback). Now they’ve released “The Perry EP”. This really does sound like a marriage of both bands sounds.
It should go without saying, but I’m going to say it anyway. Please check out the other releases from Permanent Slump. Life Drawings “Tupperware Audit”, and Sod & The Comic Opera are fantastic.
