Leave my things alone.
With the whole "Me Too" movement going on about sexual harassment these days. I wonder can I still ask a female Congresswoman if her seat is up for grabs next election?(Don't want to get in trouble.) I remember growing up people would get upset if a Topless Bar opened up in the area, or even an Adult Bookstore.(Who cares now? I hope it has a nice reading room.) Now people are up in arms if a new gun shop opens for business. I have no problem with Gun Stores. I know if trouble broke out near that business you'd have a store full of first responders ready to get a handle on the situation.(I overheard some lady on TV say Americans don't need guns for protection, just call 911. I'm still laughing at that one.) I remember growing up seeing men walking down the road with their rifle over the shoulder during hunting season. It was no big deal. It still wouldn't be to me. The people who say they don't have a gun and don't see why anyone should have a gun remind me of those who say "Our house doesn't have a TV, we enjoy books, playing games and making cookies. I don't see why anyone needs a Television." Most of us have run into one person like that, and what do we all think to ourselves? "That joker is a freak'in oddball. God help anyone living with them." I say you live your life the way you want to and let me live my life the way I want to. Go ahead and do your own thing, just as long as it doesn't affect my things. For example, I got a friend who is really into working out. You know running and pumping iron.(The man is always sweaty. Wears a muscle shirt in 10-degree temperatures.) He told me; He thinks those who are overweight should be put in programs to reteach proper eating habits. (I told him what a wonderful world that would be that someone can pop up at a restaurant and confiscate my eating utensil cause they think I've had enough.) I was then reminded by him that"Most women like a man with a beefcake body. (I have a gym membership, I just have trouble showing up.) I told him my wife is more a dessert person and prefers my cheesecake physique. I've never seen a time where so many people try and tell others what they think they're doing wrong. Life would be so much simpler if you could mark some people as spam.
