This is for the blog rates but John helps Sherlock with the beehives when Sherlock does his back in from bending over too much and as John is working Sherlock keeps on making snarky comments about how John is doing it and John just gets super annoyed and goes all red in the face and sherlock just stands and pecks him on the lips and says "don't you worry, you were perfect, I was just joking" and John just smiles and says "I love you too" uwu

Instead of John exclaiming his awe at sherlock's deductions he just pecks him on his nose, his cheek, his lips etc... because he's reached the point that he's just speechless at his boyfriend's abilities and so he shows his gratitude with this instead (for the blog complements, thought you might appreciate a headcanon)
