she hasn’t seen him in what feels like forever and for good reason. they weren’t together anymore - as much as it pained her. not only that but, they went to different universities far away from each other. but she’ll act casual, act as oif being around him didn’t make her heart beat ten times faster, ‘ so ------ whatcha gonna get me for my birthday? ‘

she’s pretty sure she’ll never get used to him being in her house now. she’d never be an only child with all of daddy’s attention again. when you work non-stop and have a pretty well planned routine it’s a little bit disorientating -- to find yourself without a plan, without your routine, without anything to do for the day. surprisingly, kristoff was given the day off and now sat in a park, watching people pass -- and birds flap their wings. but it’s boring after five minutes & he lets out an audible huff, fingers laced together and shoulders hunched forward when kris lent forward, giving up on the idea of enjoying this day by himself, in the park - no one to talk to. joy. “ ........ “
