Appropriately enough for a Friday, I decided to make beer battered fish and chips!

The recipe for the batter that I used called for rice flour, which made the coating nice and shatteringly crisp. For the beer I used a bottle of Heineken that I randomly snagged from work.

The tartar sauce is also homemade. I mixed together mayonnaise, chopped up dill pickle and capers, freshly squeezed lemon juice, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and a very small touch of honey.

The chips are just frozen steak fries lol.
