#Repost @beerswithablonde I’m back again! Funny how life gets in the way of posting about beer. You know, priorities 😄. We are in Whistler getting ready to enjoy some mountain biking and hiking (just hiking for me). We hit up @huntergatherwhistler for their late happy hour and I grabbed a Dry Irish Stout from @persephonebrewing. I always forget how much I enjoy this style of beer. It’s served on nitro so it’s super smooth with minimal carbonation which allows the chocolate and roasty flavors to come through. We also really enjoyed our food. We got a falafel wrap and a pulled pork sandwich. It was more food than we needed and super tasty. Even better everything we ordered was part of their happy hour. #Repost • @beerswithablonde Is it stout season yet? This lovely stout was a joy to find in the heat of the summer. Tiramisu is one of my favorite desserts so I was stoked to enjoy this boozy treat. The Tiramisu Stout is creamy and decadent just like it’s namesake. It fills your nose with chocolate, vanilla, and brown sugar. Caramel notes complement the strong chocolate and vanilla flavors. As this beer begins to warm the chocolate flavors begin to dominate the flavor profile. The minimal carbonation allows the richness of this beer to shine. The sweetness is not overpowering just as you would expect from tiramisu. The barrel conditioning gives this stout a boozy taste that also helps to balance the sweetness. This was a collaboration between @peakviewbrewco and @babdistilling for Peak View’s two year anniversary. The best part is you can bring the bottle back to Peak View for a free 10 oz pour. #Repost @beerswithablonde Cheers to another adventure weekend. The temps are dropping and I’m drinking in every last little bit of summer and outdoor adventures as I can. We are preparing for our annual climbing trip in Joe’s Valley so it was time to get on some real rock. We decided to go to Guanella Pass so we could also enjoy the fall colors. Bonus getting to see a moose up close and personal that was crossing the road. After a day full of traffic and chalk we hit up @cabincreekbrewing where they were actually having their Oktoberfest celebration. I tried their mocha oatmeal stout which was creamy, balanced, and went down so easily. I also loved their patio which overlooked the water at the base of the mountains. I couldn’t have been more surprised and excited to start 2022 this way. What better way to celebrate than a delicious coffee ☕️ stout from @wileyrootsbrewing? I was recently able to visit their taproom and I was more than impressed. Every stout they make is delicious in it’s own way. They also make a lot of sours which aren’t my thing, but I tried a smoothie sour which legit tasted like I had made a smoothie at home. You can only get their smoothie beers in the taproom so make the trip out there to grab some. #Repost @beerswithablonde ・・・ I don’t get to many breweries during the work week because I either work late or have to get up really early (often both!). However, I wasn’t sure how long the hazelnut brown with cocoa nibs would last at @lostfriendbrewingco. I grabbed some @jimmyjohns on the way (ohh the bbq jimmy chips 🤤) and rushed over. It was pretty packed, but my boyfriend had gotten there earlier and already had some seats ready for us.
