This was supposed to be an awdl gywydd, a Welsh form of poetry, but I think I got the format wrong. It's okay. I'm happy with how it turned out.
In the stars our love was born
How I mourn their architect
He was full of joy and awe
So unflawed, he was perfect
Then one day my star fell down
But he found me once again
Though his change was quite immense
His essence somehow remained
His new eyes, they shone like gold
And his soul was just as pure
Although it had been tarnished
He was harmless, to be sure
Playing tricks, spouting wise cracks
But no other heart compared
It was there, disguised in black
My light mingled with his dark
Made a spark that lit the flame
Of a love that burned white-hot
And could not ever be tamed
I was cruel and so vicious
All he wanted was my love
Instead of my forgiveness
And he's all broken apart
I've reduced him to stardust
Now I must mend his black heart
