what they forget to tell you about being transgender is that there is so much waiting. waiting for appointments waiting for insurance approval waiting for prescriptions to be filled waiting for the hrt to kick in waiting for the hair to grow the voice to drop the fat to move. waiting for a consult waiting for the insurance approval waiting for the surgery to be scheduled waiting for the surgery to happen. there is so much waiting and i am so impatient but it has taught me that time will pass and the only way out really is through and to just have fun in the meantime because time really does fly when you're having fun.
