Becky Albright Fanon AU

Becky Albright actually seems like the kind of person who could have befriended Scarecrow had the story gone in a different direction? She and him are very much alike, both bullied for appearances they can’t control.

Perhaps...if he wasn’t a rogue, and maybe met Becky at a bookstore by pure chance then it’s possible they would’ve hit it off and become friends?

The one thing that makes them different is how they could have potentially handled the bullying. Scarecrow turned to vengeance while Becky embraced those who hurt her. She’s got a big heart in heart chest of hers and she’s not afraid to voice her mind. All the while Scarecrow plotted to get back at the bullies, in a way lowering himself to the same level as the monsters that plagued him. Becky on the other hand decided to be the bigger person.

with all the chaos that surrounds gotham city, the public library is almost always untouched. whether it’s an unspoken love of knowledge or just dumb luck, damian spends as much daylight as he can by the tall windows with a good book.

here, he’s off duty, he’s (somewhat) relaxed. here, he is DAMIAN WAYNE in a hoodie, just another kid in a library. he flips another page of a hundred years of solitude when his beloved reading light blots out for a moment. eyes trail from mid-sentence to the newcomer. he squints against the light before scooting --- it is the public library after all. the serenity of it all keeps the boy from protesting, he gives her space at the bench by swinging his feet off. this is, after all, the best view in the whole library -- with its giant windows & gentle sunlight.

feeling more social than usual, he prompts:   ❝    what are you reading?    ❞ .

My policy is that it usually takes a week, to two weeks (but also depends if I have other commissions.) And my art usually costs $20-$30. DEPENDING on how detailed you want it, and such! i guess you could say that’s an............. enigma. really wish dc would just... draw him in glasses more often. i always prefer the look. also just because... it makes more sense, too. love the fashion of the glasses. but like. it’s not like ed’s identity is a secret or anything. and not to mention, ed LOVES attention, and loves his face. therefore, he’d want everyone to see every bit of it. so yeah.

The thing is. Most people like it when their FAVORITE GAME or a GAME THEY LIKE gives extra content to it. That’s why this is especially peculiar to me. Because most of the time... I never see people complain about side objectives in video games. They more they longer they get to play it, the better. After all, if you love a game... you wouldn’t want it to be completely over in no time, would you? And yeah. I guess that’s the thing. People just want to play as Bat and beat people up without doing the challenges. But it’s like... the game is still FULL of that aside from the riddle challenges. What’s the problem with shaking things up a bit with more than just fighting?

Not only that. But people seem to intentionally leave out that the riddles aren’t EVERYTHING Ed is about in the Ark games. Hell! In City... the main fight challenge mode FEATURES ED AS THE MAIN VILLAIN!!!! IT’S HIS GOONS YOU FIGHT!!!! IT’S HIM YOU HEAR CONSTANTLY AS YOU FIGHT THEM!!! IT’S HIM WHO MAKES FUN OF YOU AFTER YOU DIE! Therefore, Ed still has Bat fighting the good fight! He’s heavily involved in that! And even in Ark - you still fight his robots, you still race because of him. He does more than just the trophies. So... dunno why ppl act like that’s the only thing he does gameplay wise, too.
