I wanna draw them all but life is kicking my ass so here are these gorgeous girls.

What I really like about the beforian ancestors is that they represent a wish their alternian versions had

Aradia - wanted to just be alive not having her whole thing around dead

Tavros - being allowed to express himself however he wants

Sollux - actually managing to help people without having to sacrifice his life

Karkat - not being a grand matyr / successfully hiding his blood colour after he reaches adulthood

Nepeta - sharing her ship guesses and probably also being more connected with people

Kanaya - not having the weight of motherhood of her entire race on her shoulders

Terezi - having a job that actually protects people

Vriska - not having to kill hurt / orphaned trolls and maybe helping them

Equius - not being a strongman and being able to not break stuff, accepted by society as normal

Gamzee - actually making people smile and happy around him

Eridan - not having to kill all those lusii and taking care of them

Feferi - a society where taking care of her lessers
