Recently, I was invited by @wirecutter to do a #blindreview of several affordable basses marketed to beginners. They taped all the instruments logos, and asked for my opinion on each. Doing this reminded me of how hard it was to be a beginner in Brazil. Instruments were very expensive, and all I could afford was a heavy copy of a #PBass with a twisted neck that made playing a major scale feel like I was doing some intense bicep curls at the gym. It sure made my appreciate getting a decent bass 3 years later, but starting a musical journey shouldn't be so painful - at the end of the day, we decided to learn bass because it was fun, right? So, cheers to modernity, competition and the new technology that enables beginners to have an 'easy to play and decent sounding instrument' for less than U$200 - cheaper than an iPhone! Ah…and for the review, check out the link below. I had a blast doing it! . . . https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-bass-guitar-for-beginners/ . . . #BassBuyersGuide #BassReview #BeginnerBass #BassStudent #HowToBuyABass (at Brooklyn, New York)
