Winding some P-Bass bobbins.
My trusty Westone Spectrum DX bass from 1985/86. Bought very cheaply (20 quid IIRC) in 1988, the previous owner had spray-painted it green. This wasn't easy to strip away and had ruined the original red colour, so I just coated the bare wood with a few layers of beeswax and it's been like that ever since. Final pic is me with the bass in the mid-90s.
Built in Japan at the Matsumoku factory, it's very well made. It's kind of a Fender Precision on steroids, but with a better neck, build quality and pickup.
