I would always ask Mami to tell me as many stories about my family as she could (I love asking questions and stories) and I would make up stories of my own based on facts that she would give me. When I would go back to Venezuela, I would always ask my family to tell me stories or when family would come to visit in the States, I would ask them to tell me stories, as well. I would always try to find connections to my home culture and to the culture around me. Well, this DNA test was another step that I took to know know more about me and where I come from, and it shows that I am connected to many others around the globe. Now, I want to continue to learn/research my family's history, travel to these regions/countries, continue to create ancestral stories in my head, and hopefully publish a novel about one woman's account to a new world. #AncestryDNA #BeginningofPossibilities #latinasinmotion #Wanderlust #KnowYourHistory
