        Gwaine hadn’t seen Percival in a while and he was worried, well he was especially worried, there probably wasn’t a day that went by that Gwaine didn’t wonder if Percy was truly okay. Sometimes behind his kind smile Gwaine was sure there was suffering, but his fellow knight never let anyone know, so Gwaine worried. He had asked around the court if anyone had seen Percy and was getting nowhere until a young servant girl mentioned seeing him.  ❝Percival? ❞ He kept his voice and tone professional in case there were other nobles around.

        There he was again, on the run. He had managed to make it to make it to  Nassau and was amazed by the amount of chaos the island was going through, he needed to leave, go somewhere safe, and yet he stayed. 

           Garrett had gotten on a ship and started running when he was 13, his father long since dead and his mother freshly in the ground. He was good at getting into fights, and as time went on he got good at winning them too. A pirate crew took pity on him and agreed to let him sail, and ever since he got work where they needed a sword and never stayed anywhere for long. 

           He had barely gotten a glance at the First Mate before the ship left for it’s suicide mission, but it felt like he was being hit with a boom the moment he laid eyes on the blonde man. So he waited, not for lack of offers, but because something deep in his chest told him he needed to join Flint’s crew.

           The ships had returned to harbor and for the first time, Garrett was approaching a crew rather than the other way around. One of the girl’s at Max’s had told him where to find the First Mate, Billy Bones as he had learned his name. He suddenly hated how small his voice sounded.

        “Billy Bones?”

4 Headcanons about our Muses’ relationship

1.  When Katherine meets Billy for the first time, he terrifies her, but even so, never once does she actually believe he’ll harm her.  It never made sense to her… but it’s why she agrees to meet with him again after she’s off the ship.  Because she believes he’ll never harm her.

2.  While Billy is out on the ship, she writes letters to him in journals she makes herself.  They’re full of hopes and dreams and how much she misses him.  The first time she gives them to him is the day of their ‘wedding’.  After that, she gives them to him every time he returns.

3.  She can’t wait to kiss him whenever he comes back…. partly because she was the first one to kiss him.

4.  The day she marries him and every time she finds out she’s pregnant and gives birth are the happiest days of her life… the second one is the day he comes back to her.
