I’m playing a game of Business Casual Chicken, seeing how much glitter I can get away with at work.

I’ve started to just draw my eyeliner on in basically two lines, which means that I have a fully complete outline drawn on before I start filling it in.  So I figured... why not leave it like that, instead of making it solid black?

If I remember correctly, I’m actually wearing red glitter in this so-called “office appropriate” makeup look.  Spicy!

And here’s the makeup!  You might think that it’s a little light and un-dramatic for the ‘20s; I’ll talk about it more in my huge wall of text where I break down the whole outfit and my thought process, but I thought that too up until I was in the final planning stages for the event.  Turns out that’s mostly because of pop culture and the makeup was still pretty light by our standards!

I call this the “I did a shitton of research on the hair*, and have a decent bit of background info on the clothes, so I refuse to put any thought into whether or not this is period accurate makeup (until I’m already on the way to work, thinking about how the eyeliner is wrong)” vintage makeup look.

*not that that meant I got it right, mind you
