So exciting! All my @lick samples are here and I had the best time finally mood-boarding and planning my daughter Ronja’s nursery decoration in our new old house today. 🌻🍃 I’m going for a Vintage storybook inspired look. A while ago I stumbled upon a page in a book about Walter Crane’s illustrations. The rich jewel toned hues grabbed me right away and I knew then that I wanted to include some of the red, teal, green and mustard in her room. At the same time I prefer a more neutral space that I can move pops of colour in and out of so opted to paint the walls #Beige01 and #White05 paired with some beautiful kelp wallpaper on the same background as a feature wall. I’ll be a bit daring by painting the ceiling ( for the first time in my life) in #yellow02 a sort of warm mustard yellow. #Orange01 a warm orange-red, together with #green02, and perhaps #green04 will feature in small amounts on up-cycled furniture. I love folky painted vintage pieces and will give Roni’s cot a dreamy makeover. Done a little sample painting in colours matched as closely as I could.
