I need to chill.
[TXT] I'm fine Bush. To be honest I'm not enjoying at least a bit cuz I'm doing everything by myself :( and I gotta go, the old man might catch me with a phone. TTYL... I miss you.
[TXT] Okay...I miss you too...be safe.
Upon hitting send Tyler's ocean eyes grew wide, "Wait...," squinting he read it once more realizing Audrinhad to have been at his home. "So...he's...-WHAT!?"
[TXT] Fuck Audrin! Are you okay?! Seriously? Do I need to come over there...I dont know what Ill do...I could figure that out on the way..fuck...are you at your home?
He waits for another text back but as expected gets no response, "Shit!"
[TXT] He better not hurt you...fuck...be safe. Ill figure something out. I lo- *backspaces* miss you.
-Sends-
[TXT] I never doubted you have. The question I gave you means I missed you. [TXT] Sorry I didn't answered your messages. I'm doing fine. Some grumpy man forcefully gave me a vacation therapy or something. No gadgets and things that would disturb my inner peace or whatever he calls it.
Heaves a heavy sigh and texts back with shaking hands.
[TXT] i fuckin miss u too flower...god damn...you have no idea...i thought you were brea-
-deletes-
[TXT] I miss you too...I'm glad you're okay. :/
[TXT] ILL DISTURB HIS INNER PEACE! I thought you were hurt or something! Are you enjoying yourself at least?
[TXT] Dude, I've been desperate and frustrated while looking for something. I don't know what it is but I know it's missing, do you know?
Tyler took his hands away from the keys feeling the pain swelling in his chest as his hands shook. Breathless he noticed his phone light up, and Audrin's picture was on the screen. Grabbing it quickly he opened the text.
[TXT] What? Are you, okay?! Where have you been? I'm sorry...and...what is it you're missing?
[TXT] Are you okay though...really...I'm worried sick.
Tyler sighed and sauntered to the living area. His sisters were out in the yard playing with Watson and his mother had been out doing whatever she does these days. The teen sat in his room staring out the window, his phone hadn't lit up once. With Luka and the others enjoying themselves in Moscow, Ty left himself locked away in the house.
Leaving had become such a task, Tyler's phone had a single message from Todd that went unread.
His mind was polluted with thoughts of Audrin, and only Audrin...and his wellbeing.
"Please be alright," he whispered again before placing his hands on the ivory keys. Inhaling he began to play his, singing out loudly.
As he sang he could still clearly remember the day they met, and every single moment leading up to it.
At this point he felt as if Audrin was simply avoiding him, thus heartbreak was all the surfer could feel deep with in his chest.
His fingers continued to glide across the keys while he cried out every feeling he had bottled up to himself, screaming it in song to the empty rooms letting it echo down the hallow halls.
"...Hide all your photographs,
But I can feel you watching me How long does your memory last? It's time I ought to be Moving on and getting over you I bet it looks like I'm not even trying to Here all alone, my past on the walls With nothing left of you to remind me So why are you still standing behind me..."
Tyler sat alone in his room, while his newly formed band was now settling in Moscow to do some shows and expand a bit, he remained home. Worried about Audrin, his father, and his sisters while still not getting along with his mother.
He hadn't touched his skateboard in days, and with no one to hang out with Tyler sat in his room with his dog. Watson laid sprawled on the bed listening to Tyler play his guitar and sing songs to himself in order to numb the pain and loneliness.
Sitting in his room Tyler stared at his phone, still no messages from Audrin. Having spent most days watching his sisters or at the hospital with his father the surfer hadn't taken much time for himself or for his friends.
Looking in the mirror a run down, tired face stared back with hazy blue eyes. Running his hand through his brown mop of hair he mumbled to himself, "Damn Ty, at this rate your hair will be gray before you're twenty."
His youngest sister Kaylee ran up behind him and tackling him to the ground, "Mom's gone! Can we go play pirates and princesses now!?" the eleven year old giggled. Standing up with the smaller girl clinging to him he nodded.
"Where's Kelsea?" Ty asked.
"She doesn't want to play that she wants to play Monopoly...again," Kelsea pouted.
Ty laughed prying his little sister off of his waist, "Alright well, how about we play monopoly with Kels first and then later we'll play pirates and princesses?"
The blonde haired girl smiled happily, "Okay! But I get the dog piece then!"
Tyler nodded, "Alright, that's fair enough."
Setting up the game with his sisters the girls babbled excitedly teasing their older brother that they'd beat him again. However Tyler was more distant than usual, causing Kelsea to raise questions, "Ty-Ty, you haven't done anything with your new friends, and we haven't seen your boyfriend at all the past week...is everything okay?"
Forcing a smile the brunette laughed shortly, "Kels everything's fine. Dad's not well and mom's pretty busy. Can't leave you guys alone in this house you'll burn it down...and Watson isn't a very good babysitter, he's just a baby himself."
Kelsea shook her head, "Shouldn't you do something for yourself though?"
Tyler sighed, "Don't worry 'bout me, kiddo, I'm fine...now...let's play this...I ain't lettin' ya win again."
