On the subject of these fools’ first meeting, and jumping off of what you wrote, I don’t think Vinny even knew who the hell Ace was at the time. Heard of them sure, never met face to face though since up until this point they would’ve been getting assignments through Disaster. From Vinny’s perspective, they show up at the job and start working through the building like normal, assessing what areas are going to need the most work and such. But at some point, they hear footsteps, footsteps that follow. And doot da dah the events of your little snippet occur in which Vinny is just mildly confused about why this person is following them around on the job. Eventually they finish up and through an unexplainable and confusing game of charades they somehow manage to get to Heathen’s Haven, where Vinny proceeds to be even more confused and considerably more concerned since it turns out they were just driving around one of Los Santos’ most wanted persons without realizing it!
