Quick Question: Do Nil, Polly and Steve meet any witches? If so, what do they think of them.

Also, can Nil learn witchcraft and become a witch?

Steve has met plenty of witches.

The first time they met Witches was during late evening, where they thought it was villagers, and the witches lured them over, got them drunk on potions, and then Steve woke up at the bottom of a ravine, half their items gone and covered in glass shards.

Since then their Witch encounters have been hostile. Stole a cat one time, but the cat dgaf. That witch you see in the window in this post? Steve killed her in the Raid.

Polly has met witches, but never really interacted. Seen them mingling with Evokers and leaving with Raiding parties, and at the Mansion Bar where a Witch was mixing them potions, but Polly was probably too drunk to remember much. (It was a special occasion where pillagers were allowed in the Mansion)

And… this is a MAYBE-idea for now. You can learn alchemy and become a Cleric, OR you get hit by lightning (or are a natural witch) and get the power to 'brew' potions with magic, no ingredient needed, depending on their skill (but only Healing, Swiftness, Fire Res, Water Breath and Night Vis. Maybe Regen). However they still need to brew the base Awkward Potion like normal, still need Nether Warts. So Nil is gonna have to get hit by lightning if they wanna be a Witch, and they cannot become a Cleric. Speaking of Nil...

Nil may have seen one on the outskirts of the village (getting kicked out by the golem) and read/heard stories about them. Klavs, their Cleric parent, always warned Nil of them. As for after exploring, you'll see...
