I CAN SQUAT! 😄
I can do a full one, with no modifications, with or without a bar.
My hamstrings, quads, and glutes are the strongest they’ve ever been.
I still can’t do a proper push-up…forget pull ups 😆, and I don’t quite have the strength to take up running.
Work in progress, of course. My sister who is also a doctor explained that all the improvements will come with time, so long as I stick to the program.
My diet needs work. I’m consuming too much protein apparently (??), at least from what my trainer is telling me. I’m thinking of going back to the arbonne shakes in the morning, healthy lunch and dinner. I lost a lot of weight while I was doing that (before I fucked it up and started eating my emotions away…self-sabotage 101).
My priority right now is growing so accustomed to this exercise regimen in the morning, that I just do it without really thinking about it. I have to sustain this schedule and lifestyle or else this will all be for noting.
This also means no more 2 hour workout sessions. I need to be more efficient with my time, because when I get back to work, there won’t be any time.
But so far, so good.
Time to shower 😋
