does anyone else get really depressed during summer break or is it only me? ok, sure, a big part of why i'm feeling so down is because i'm away from my best friend but also i hate not having the independence i do in college. i also want to do a bunch of things and start a lot of projects but i don't have the will to do it

okay things that ive done so far this year include:

been promoted to lead teacher

survived second quarter of my teacher training *so many homework assignments you all have No Idea

finished rough draft of next timeloop chapter (sorry yall its my fault it hasn't updated in months)

finished taxes

dropped two associates degree courses :(

said goodbye to a very close friend who moved out of the country

lost my wallet and found it three days later

lost my credit card and still have not found it three weeks later (but no one else has used it? so I think im okay??? ish?)

things on my to-do list by next two weeks:

publish next timeloop chapter

answer late asks

catch up on some late homework

finish current homework assignments (pray for me)

get classroom ready for parent night

things on to-do list by december:

idk read? a book? if I have time??? that would be nice

publish next chapter of gift exchange (all three if possible)

survive final quarter of teacher training lmao

continue working on associates degree

finish second draft of OC novel

Is my oc ever wrong? I’ll go with “Pathetic wet cat” for this one! Cat is absolutely wrong about so many things, it’s kinda his thing😅

• he thinks the girl he’s in love with (fog) likes him as a friend at least (she hates him)

•he thinks his dad doesn’t like him and would rather see him dead (he’s just bad at communicating)

•he thinks the revolution he grew up in was bloodless and that the leaders can do no wrong (….bestie it was still a revolution and people do bad things sometimes when they don’t have to face real consequences)

•he thinks for one stunning moment that he’s kissing Fog in a club (he’s drunk and traumatized and it’s actually her almost!girlfriend Han and she is unimpressed when he says the wrong name on accident)

•He thinks he doesn’t have a chance with either of them (it’s polyamorous enemies to lovers and he bags both baddies with his patheticness)

I absolutely adore him and that means I make his life worse every chance I get😂

What does my oc lie about? Okay for this one I’m doing the love of my life oc “but I’m a cheerleader”

She lies that she’s fine! She is very much Not Fine!! She also spends the majority of the book lying to everyone that she’s grieving a family members death, when in reality she’s grappling with the fact that she’s relieved they’re dead, celebrating it even. She hates them.

She’s lying to herself that she doesn’t still love them, just a little bit. That she doesn’t hate herself for that. #thatstraumabitch

Know You Better Now is a perfect modern AU Feysand story! Up there with Velide’s The Daily Struggles of an Art Student. Now I kinda want a follow-up where Rhys brings Feyre to Cassian’s birthday party as his plus one (I assume it’s Cass; I don’t think Mor would insist on an ugly throw pillow for Azriel).
