i think this is very true fyi
re-reading the comics. i forgot how terrible val actually is. oh man i love him so much. hes so, so terrible. the worst morals and even worse actions. he really is a lost cause.
also I think coming back from the dead actually sucks. I mean, if you ignore all the physical pain and awful sensations of slowly feeling your blood pulse through your veins again and your nervous system waking up, etc, etc, it doesn’t really get any better. Sure, you’ve got your friends who spent months or maybe even years trying to get you back, but while you were dead they changed. You missed it. And when you finally come back, you get to see the excitement in their eyes and all their love and dedication just to you, because you’re everything to them, but they have changed. They are not the same. You are not everything. While you were dead, they kept living. Everyone else kept living. Most people probably accepted your death and moved on. You were dead. They all changed and experienced new things together, new things with inside jokes and little tells you would never understand, and suddenly there’s a tight-knit group that you just don’t fit into anymore. Maybe you left a hole behind, but it’s been sealed over. And maybe everyone marvels at you at first. I mean, you were dead. Now you’re breathing and smiling. But it doesn’t quite sit on your face, and it begins to fade from their faces. Once again, they move on. You’re old news. You died, but they didn’t, and anyways, weren’t they always closer with each other than they were with you? They leave you alone now. They have other friends now. And where does that leave you?
oh I know this is probably obvious, but I never really saw it ever. I’m pretty sure Vaya and Vamos picked their names because the words are written on the ‘am. That’s really sweet :(
“oh it’s not such a big deal, actually-“ no. you’re not seeing this through teenage girl eyes. you don’t know anything.
oh man I am literally living the plot of a coming of age novel 😭😭😭 let me out let me out pls
you guys arent even ready for what im about to pull (there's no nefariously grinning emoji so you guys are gonna have to imagine that one)
