If I were to make a fan favorite blue planeswalker, what's the ratio of ingredients I should use?
blue robes
belt buckles
white tattoos
blue mana
memory issues
gorgon
Phyrexian Oil
Vanilla Extract

Is anybody else just a little upset at the inconsistencies between today's story and the end of RIX? Here, let me show you what I mean. From Wool Over the Eyes:
Here we see Jace, a little frazzled but laughing and even euphoric at planeswalking on to a very fast object. Also Gideon in the next room over, popping through the door. Also (not in my screenshot but at this time) a reference to landing in "something slightly gooey," likely Slimefoot.
Compare this to Episode 9:
Gideon and co. are in the same room Jace pops in to, not the next one over. We also get none of the same dialogue. All right, maybe in Wool Jace needed time to readjust his senses and just missed this part of the conversation. I can give you that.
Here we have Extremely Serious (TM) Jace, explaining how he got on to the Weatherlight very calmly, maybe even a little condescendingly. Otherwise ignoring the other questions.
Like... Where's my Jace who's comfortable with himself? Who's excited about doing strange new things like Planeswalking on to a MOVING VESSEL? Who's a little bit silly? "Gideon! I'm not dead!" Where is he, and why was he replaced by this serious edgelord who flat out throws Liliana under the bus and learned nothing from his time on Ixalan except how toxic that particular relationship had been? I want the Jace who loves learning and experiencing back.
Tagging some folks who may have a take on this topic... @flavoracle @chelsea-beleren-vess @sarpadianempiresvol-viii @unexpected-phyrexian @maris-solstice @blogging-phelddagrif @jolly-ob-saint-nixilis @sorry I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head and I'm on mobile.
Also, zero (0) mention of landing in the slimy thing. #WheresSlimefoot

All characters belong to Wizards of the Coast
A couple LRR Reaction Gifs for everybody’s future use, and one of their chat because it was easy to make. I think that’s a Thran Dynamo between the Demonic Tutor and the Underground Sea but I couldn’t read the name and have to go by the slice of the art.
