- Helmut is a "I must play my music ear-splittingly loudly for the Good Sensory Feels" autistic while Compton is a "loud music makes me feel like I'm dissolving into jelly" autistic

- Sasha is hypersensitive to texture to the point where he is an absolute nightmare to cook and buy clothes for. Only Milla knows his exact preferences

- Raz often loses speech when very tired or stressed or overwhelmed. Otto gives him an AAC device to help with this

- Sasha also experiences speech loss rather often and prefers to communicate via sign language when it happens

- Raz is hyperempathetic while Sasha has low empathy. Solidarity

- yknow that bit in the punching minigame from basic braining where Raz yells at Clem and Crystal to shut up? Little man was overstimulated from the loud cheering </3

OHHHH YOU HAVE UNLEASHED THE BEAST BESTIE

I'm just doing Raz ones for right now bc he's The Blorbo who I have SO many thoughts about

- Raz is so autistic and ADHD it's insane. And not exactly a headcanon but I will die on the hill that he is CANON C-PTSD rep. The hand of galochio is quite literally a manifestation of that.

- Raz may be physically strong and athletic, but he has a TERRIBLE immune system. If there's any sort of bug going around he'll catch it instantly

- in general Raz is kind of the "runt" of his siblings and gets treated as such by the older ones. Very small skrungly sickly looking thing /loving

- he has a fear of thunderstorms. The water hitting the caravan roof, the lightning, and the thunder are all deeply unpleasant and overstimulating for him. Whenever there's a storm he hides under the covers of his bed </3

- he has comfort objects! Obvious ones are his helmet and googles and his TPT comics, and he also has a quilt Nona made for him and a stuffed rabbit he got when he was really little

- he has very little cold tolerance, he gets chilly SO easily. It's the reason he could run around outside during the summer in a turtleneck, overcoat, helmet, and gloves

- Raz is a junk food lover. He charms his way into getting free carnival food from vendors at circuses his family has performed with

- he's very protective of his things, ESPECIALLY stuff that was bought specifically for him and not a hand me down. Between being poor and having so many siblings, he has so few things to call his own he understandably doesn't want to part with any of it. This is part of the reason he was so distraught when Augustus tore up his Whispering Rock pamphlet

aquato family headcanons if you please! I'm in the mood for aquato positivity hours (when am I not)

Ohoho bestie you came to the right place

- None of this family is neurotypical. Augustus and Donatella are autistic and adhd solidarity and it passed down to their kids

- it's heavily implied that Donatella is a runaway and if we're going by the idea that she had a bad home life, Razputin running away must've hurt A LOT. A bona fide "oh god I'm becoming like my own parents" moment

- Donatella and Nona are very close. Dona sees her as a maternal figure after running away to join Augustus with the circus

- Mirtala had a mermaid phase at one point. EXTREMELY ironic lmao. At the time of the games she's in a princess phase (hence the tiara)

- Frazie is a horse girl and collects those realistic plastic horse figures and has a few my little ponies too (not very many bc those are more expensive)

- idk how much of a headcanon this is as opposed to just canon but Frazie has zoolepathy. It's how she understands Sugarcube

- at multiple points when Raz was a baby his parents have walked in on him floating objects or staring at them with brightly glowing eyes

- Raz is transmasc and the first person he told was Dion. Ofc Dion was fully supportive bc YES FINALLY ANOTHER BOY (this was before Queepie showed up)

- when Dona was expecting, Augustus was comically protective of her and insisted on doing EVERYTHING for her. She was more amused by this than anything and genuinely appreciated it

- sometimes Raz has trouble controlling his mind reading and can hear EVERYONE'S thoughts at once for as long as several hours at a time. Think Dolores from Encanto but worse </3

OHHH BESTY!!! I have. Several. So I'll choose three to showcase right now!!!

First on the chopping block is Violet Ribbons! My beloved ponysona. It took FOREVER to get his colors down but they ended up being one of my favorite designs

Violet grew up in a small town with a very controlling and smothering family with extremely high expectations. Being an eccentric and creatively inclined pony from the get-go, Violet absolutely hated the lack of agency he was given and fought back at every opportunity. Them being a blank flank for far longer than usual did not help matters. After finally moving away to Phillydelphia as a young adult, they secured an apartment and spent hours and hours meticulously decorating it to their liking, earning their cutie mark in the process. Violet's "special talent" is creative expression in all forms, whether it be art, music, fashion, decor, or whatever else.

Next up is Poffin, my pokesona. I look like this, when you hurt me this is what you're hurting. It started off life as a "reject" from a shiny hunting pokemon breeder, and was thusly tossed out into the wilds of Alola soon after hatching alongside many of his siblings. Without a parental figure to care for and protect them, they were forced to fight tooth and nail to survive predators and bad weather conditions. At one point they did have a trainer, but for reasons that he still doesn't fully understand they were permanently separated. All this led him to have MAJOR abandonment issues and an aversion to forming serious bonds with others, until being assimilated into a found family of other eeveelutions (my friends' OCs!!!). He also in lesbians with my own gf's Absol pokesona!!! the Team Rainbow Rocket bandana matches his girlfriend's Team Skull one :] (he had no clue what Team RR is though, he just found the bandana on the ground and thought it was pretty)

And lastly, Bodie!!! I adore grumpuses they're so silly. She decided to embark on an expedition to Snaktooth Island in order to hopefully improve his disordered eating habits. For years Bodie had grown increasingly disinterested in food due to a combination of factors, primarily neurodivergence and mental illness. He had heard rumors and stories of the nutritional value and delectable taste of bugsnax and decided to give it a go. Though once on the island she ends up just looking at and playing around with the snax more often than actually eating them. If Bodie were to hypothetically interact with the canon grumpuses I think he'd get along best with Filbo, Beffica, and Snorpy while having a bit of friction with Cromdo and Gramble.
