Here are 5 ways to survive:

Keep your windows and doors shut during the day. You don't want the heat to come inside. Once it's cooler outside at night you can open them again.

Don't drink ice cold drinks. Your body will compensate the cold by heating up. You don't want that. On the same note: don't take cold showers. Lukewarm is where it's at.

A fan + ice water underneath works like magic.

Don't eat spicy food. You know why.

If you absolutely have to go out in the sun, please wear sunscreen, a hat, light and covering clothes, sunglasses and... a mask.

The Belgian government can't handle covid-19 so it's time we take measures ourselves. Limit your physical contact with others, keep your distance, wash your hands and wear a mask when you can't avoid crowded places. We're not in lockdown (yet), but please stay at home as much as possible.

We're heading towards a second wave and we all know how bad it gets once the virus takes over. We don't want things to escalate again. Flanders is an "orange zone", trying to avoid going dark red. It's up to us now, the government failed.

To foreigners visiting Belgium: please be aware of different rules in every city. The government decided that it's up to the mayors to impose extra rules. Consequence? Chaos, confusion, disorder.
