If your seventh class is from 1 to 2:05 pm, how early do you start? 1 hour and 5 minutes of class is really long.

Well, it’s actually like 1:10 to 2:05, I forgot about passing period and such so it’s only about 55 minutes. We start at 7:10 am, first period ends about 7:59. From there it’s second period from 8:04 to 8:53, third from 8:58 to 9:47, fourth from 9:52 to 10:41. 

Here is lunch, two mass lunches for the entire school. A lunch is 10:41-11:16 and while they’re at lunch, the others have class from 10:46 to 11:35. Then it switches for B lunch who go to lunch at 11:35 to 12:10 while A lunchers go to class from 11:21 to 12:10.

Then comes 6th period from 12:15 to 1:04 and finally seventh from 1:09 to 2:05pm. 

That’s the entirety of our schedule for four years of our life, at least down in FL

today was rough. humid. very humid. but then all the days have been humid. the fans do their best. they just stir up the dust. they try to whip up my students hair, but it ends up only being a weak twirling.

I didn't eat lunch. that was the plan. granola bar barely wolfed down. standing lunch hour. feedback to students. fingers flying over the keyboard, making structures out of symbols. ones and zeros. real food saved for afterward. after I could breathe. but there was no cessation. voice on the PA: report to meetings...your open hour is moved to 3:15...as is your lunch...and your opportunity to eat.

rough, rough day.

Substitute teaching seems to involve a lot of going on Tumblr and ignoring the students while they do independent work, or watch movies.

I was 11 minutes from the end of Transformers 3, when the bell rang. I am finishing it before I leave. You can't do this to meeeeee!!!!!
