to say that he had not thought about how he would die , would be a massive UNTRUTH . remus had thought about his death many times over . had circled it in his mind on numerous occasions . more than most , he had thought about his death after a full moon , alone && abandoned && in agony . he had thought about his death on quiet nights , where the empty hollows of his heart engulfed him && he could not quell the pain that had come to the surface . he had thought about his death on nights where it had all become too much && he WISHED nothing more than to abandon everyone && everything -- knowing that his passing would be a great relief to those he brought misery upon . he had thought about his death countless times when facing up against death eaters && the like , knowing that his death , however martyred , might save someone down the line . && if not , it would be no great loss .
despite all this , DESPITE having thought about his death more times than perhaps was normal , remus did not want to die at her hands . did not want to suffer at her cruel INHUMANITY .
she ran her hands ( though with her nails they were more akin to TALONS ) through his scalp , forcing his head back , her wand pressed up against the concave of his neck && piercing upwards to his jaw . @bellablack was keen on making her torturous habits known . && remus was sure that she was going to make him suffer before she executed him in cold blood . he hoped that she would be quick in his death . && that her torture of him would not be long && painful . he had suffered enough . he did not know if he had the strength inside him to venture on .
her wand was piercing , poking at his skin before then her nails scorched across his skin , poking at the scars that LINGERED across his face from so many full moons ago , he had forgotten when && how exactly he had gotten them . remus closed his eyes , heart throbbing against his chest && desperately terrified . he pulled away , avoiding her cold gaze . ❝ don't touch me , ❞ he hissed .
