TOMORRROW I’ll be posting the first chapter of a comic adaptation of the Hobbit! It’s a mind blowing chapter of surprising twists and the spirit of Adventure! Jk it’s only nine pages long, but I do love this story and I’m having so much fun drawing it. Hopefully I’ll have time to continue drawing comics based on the Hobbit in the future. Crazy 70s hair aside, this is actually from a really cool movie called Bottle Shock - it’s based on actual events about a Napa winemaker/winery. :) Bill Pullman, Freddy Rodriguez & Alan Rickman are also in it.

First person to come to mind (possibly cuz I’m screencapping right now) is Bernard Hill - Theoden. To me he is “older” not old, but when he is under Saruman’s spell he is very old.

Liam Neeson was the first person who came to my mind, actually, right after I posted that! And the idea of casting Ageon V as Anthony Hopkins is amusing as hell to me right now because Gaspard Ulliel (who played a young Hannibal) is my young Aerys, thanks to summerhall. Jeremy Irons sometimes subs for Tytos because of convenience. Thank you.
