She hooked up early with Mother Mother, then kicked clear of that rival in the upper stretch. As soon as Mother Mother faded, Enaya Alrabb was right there to put the pressure on Bellafina to the wire.
Bellafina is nominated to the triple crown races; I wonder if they’ll test her against the boys at some point?
Side note: Enaya Alrabb’s dam, Lotta Rhythm, is a half-sister to Lotta Kim, the dam of Rachel Alexandra. That’s quite the family.
