Fire and Hemlock seems to be pretty popular! I haven’t had a chance to read Winter Rose yet, but I’ve heard good things. I’m looking forward to reading through it once I track down a copy. Thanks for sharing!

I read The theif series book 1-4 before knowing the lymond chronicle exist. And even then I did not really love Gen that much until book 3. You're so right @april-rainer ! That's why I'm so charmed by Lymond in the game of kings. They gave off exactly the same vibe! I even used to wonder if Megan whalen turner got the inspiration from Dorothy Dunnett but turns out it's not so at all.
Ah, but according to this text post she has definitely read Lymond.
