Greetings, Saplings! With only 100 days left on the clock, the TGHS community is preparing to say goodbye to our graduating manongs and manangs of Batch 2023. With this, we would like to give them the opportunity to share the experiences and wisdom they gathered over their six year stay through our project Bákhay: Unearthing Stories.

The project is currently in progress, but below are excerpts from interviews with some students:

“...The past few years have exposed me to a wide variety of experiences that tested my ability to understand, adapt, and overcome hardships. I am grateful that the TGHS community has given me the opportunity to do so. “Being a transfer student scared me at the time; I was actually very scared that I wouldn’t get along with anybody here. Despite this, I did my best to get to know everybody, and found out that the TGHS community is filled with people who were willing to accept me with open arms.
