Roses Are Red, Daisies Are White and I’m Gonna Put Up a Fight || Oliver & Belle
Oliver had an excellent game plan, at least in his head he thought it was excellent. Buy all of Belle’s favorites. There was only so much he could do to prove to her how much he truly cared. Maybe remembering her favorite things would potentially break the wall down, even if it was just little by little. He was determined that was for sure. Oliver had already planned ahead their dinner. They had the choice between Fettuccini Alfredo Pasta or Spaghetti and Meatballs which was one of Oliver’s favorite dishes, especially the way his Mom would make it. He’d already prepped the meal ahead of time, just throwing everything into his slow cooker while he was away from the apartment. It would be ready by the time the two or well he hoped the two of them would show up. “Okay bud.” Oliver looked down at his dog. “You take care of the place while I’m out okay? I’ll be back.” He smiled at his dog and rubbed his head before heading on out.
His quest to search for Belle’s favorites was hard, but to him it was worth it. Apparently only a select few florists actually carried daisies, and here he thought they were as popular as roses and lily’s. He’d gone to the store, managing to avoid most of the human population, because that seemed to be who was out and about today and purchased the softest teddy bear he could find, along with some blue ribbon. He wrapped the blue ribbon around the bears neck and created a blue bow tie of sorts, wrapping the remaining ribbon around the flowers.
He wasn’t sure if he should bring the items inside with him or convince her that she needed a quick 5-10 minute break. He figured he could probably convince her. Walking into the coffee shop he waited in line like anybody would, although he obviously stuck out like a sore thumb as it wasn’t every day he was seen wearing a suit. Upon reaching the front a grin crossed his face when they made eye contact and he gave her a subtle nod. “You’re looking as beautiful as ever. Can I borrow you for like 5-10 minutes?”
