I’ve been babysitting this little baby (formerly named Kathy by my Papa, but I’ve been calling her Cinnamon), while my Papa has been in the hospital being evaluated (ultimately he’s been diagnosed with #Dementia with delusions). We’re working on finding a Memory Care Facility that will be able to take him - hence her staying with me and Matt. . She is SUCH a sweetheart. Loooooves to get rubbed and petted on. Will actively pull your hand to her with her paw, and she’ll make sure you know that she wants pets. . I also LOOOOVE her #fantail !!!!! @foodieyogie you know me and my love of fantails! . Cinnamon can also also hold her own against #BellePepperUpton who just wants nothing more than to play with her, but Cinnamon isn’t quite having any of that. She yips and lip curls, and Belle jumps around like she’s being bullied by a bigger dog. It’s so funny to watch this little 12lb dog boss around the 53lb dog. . No joke ... I got #BellePepperUpton ready to go to @homedepot with me to buy a few nuts, and #SadieFlorenceCook decided she was going to drive. Love these two goobers! #houndsofinstagram #pittbullsofinstagram #dogsofinstagram ... Belle and Sadie are both through some pretty intensive training to try to reign in their disputes recently, and with the electric collar and buzz controller thingy it is really going quite well .... . Belle is EXCELLING in the training, and Sadie is being a hard headed hound; so it’s taking a little - lot - longer for her to listen. Today at Home Depot Belle did stunningly well. She stayed in the heel position for 90% of the trip, and anytime she strayed and I had to use the buzz controller it was on the LOWEST setting and she got back in the right spot immediately. She puts up with so much from me. Tolerantly sitting there as I place a toboggan on her. . Sadie is a wonderful, hard headed hound. So sweet and lovely, but stubborn AF. She listens well and KNOWS what she’s being asked to do, BUT .... she refuses to comply.
