October 19, Day 1 - Patching up wounds.

“Stop fidgeting, I’m almost done,” Susan scolded but couldn’t help her soft laughter. “I can’t help myself.” Maybelle bashfully smiled up to her lover. Her hands ached but she could barely contain herself over the tender way Susan patched her up. “Really, Mayebelle, you ought to be more careful!” Susan kept her delicate work, wrapping up Maybelle’s wrist and fingers. “I can’t help myself when I’ve got you to care for me.” Maybelle admitted, a blush grazing both of their cheeks. Susan just shook her head, smiling to herself. “Keep up that talk and I won’t have you around to tend to no more.” “I can handle myself, Suzzy... Besides, I promised you I’d come home to you every night.” The two gazed to each other through the warm candle light, soft smiles on their faces. Susan couldn’t stay mad, Maybelle just had a way of melting through her exterior and getting to her heart. Once Susan finished, the two shared a loving kiss and turned in for another cuddly night under the stars.
