he thinks material possessions are important! after all, he is a merchant, and his livelihood depends on the trade of material possessions. but he's in the selling business bc he wants to make ppl happy. its gr8 to have things that hold v important memories to u, but obviously u shouldn't depend on them. the most important material possessions are those that bring ppl together.
