Rita: and are you gonna do any like Lamaze or birthing classes bc yous might be farther along but it’d be nice t’have a friend there too

No matter how badly Rita had wanted children, nothing would have ever prepared her for actually getting pregnant. Children had seemed to be off the table for her and Roscoe if only because there relationship hadn’t been a healthy one. Not until more recently. But even then, Rita was not sure their newly formed relationship could withstand a child. Not yet at least. A few years off, maybe. 

Fate, as it would seem, had other plans for them. Either that or it was the crazy ass town they lived in.

Out of her depth and unprepared there was only one thing Rita could do. Read every single thing she could on pregnancy. Her browser history was already full of every single article she could find on young mothers and pregnancy and the different trimesters and what occurred during them. Even articles on what substance abuse early in the pregnancy could do to the baby (since that was still something she was terrified of and none of the articles had helped ease that fear). But she knew Chapter Three could help. They had to have books on what to expect when expecting.

She walked in slowly, fingers clutched around her bag, and looked around. “H-Hello? Anyone here?”
