Day 3 in Bellingham - 4th of July!

Today I had trouble sleeping because Danny poured beer on me and kept me up until morning. When I went to bed, Billy kept farting in his sleep and he just smelled and I couldn't sleep well. It was rough but at 11:00am I got out of bed and I did the best I could to be refreshed. We had the 4th of July party today at her dad's house, so we made greek style deviled eggs - with feta cheese, black olives and green olives. They were great! We dyed them red and white, and left the egg whites normal so it would be festive!

We went to the party by the lake and it was amazing. We were cooking food in the kitchen and the view from the back was great - it was a wall of windows with the view of the lake. People shot off fireworks all day today, and Jasmine and I rode the boat to the creek and saw a beaver! We went out and just talked about random things. We spent a good majority of the day just sitting on the dock with our legs in the water and just relaxing.

Then we saw fireworks and I was overwhelmed. There were so many fireworks since it's legal here in Washington. Did you know fireworks are illegal in California? It's so boring...but here in Washington, we sat on a bridge and just watched the city and the beach. There were fireworks all around us and I couldn't keep track of it. It was a great experience all together.

Tomorrow we're going to Canada after school!
