Messquerade 2012
I don't know if anyone has ever been to Seattle's Belltown Underground venue, but it might be the sweetest party space I've ever had the pleasure of frequenting. The space has the best graff, doors that you can't even see, a huge bar, stage, plenty of room for all kinds of crazy carnival shit and anything else you can imagine.
Appropriately, Matt Messenger uses this as his preferred event venue, and just like the man himself, it's full of a bunch of weird surprises and chaos. Messmann's Messquerade is a helluva show, and this year the music was on point, the costumes were fantastic, and the drugs... they were there too.
I myself went as silver as possible, popped a mushroom cap and proceeded to blow my mind and dance my ass off. If I can find some photos, I'll post 'em here.
Fun rating: 9/10. All I can say is that if you find yourself in Seattle next halloween, get your ass to this party. Worth it!
Imperial Legions of Rome (a little ditty from their CD release party at Belltown Underground last year) by Zechariah Valette who is awesome. I don't even know if this is done but I'm posting it sucker, cause it's online now.
This is a sneak peek into a not tiny part of my life - the Seattle DIY nightlife and the music scene. I have a crush on all of these boys, I love their music, I love the Underground. Enjoy.
