The “do you memorize everything I say? line was a full circle moment because it finally puts Belly and Conrad on the same playing field as individuals.

On Season 1, this was Belly sort of admitting that she views Conrad as everything and cares so deeply about what he says and he responds in a way that I feel was Conrad’s bad cocky way of flirting with her and Belly in all of her insecurity didn’t read it as such and took it a bad way and got defensive since she didn’t want to feel like she was admitting to him she’s obsessing over him.

On Season 3, Belly brining back that moment in a place of like “oh so, do you memorize everything I say?” not only is her flirting with him back but reclaiming that moment that felt so terrible for teenager Belly and him confirming that yes, he does memorizes everything she says is in fact his way to also be like I am also obsessed with you and think of you as everything and what you say is valuable too and they’re both equally of that field.
