"Ammë I'm so c-cold. I can b-barely feel my hands. When will this j-journey come to an end?"
The words burdened her heart, the cold not seeming to bother her a bit, but perhaps it was different in younger elves. Their like a maturity likely had something to do with the regulation of body temperature. Never the less, she felt pity for her beloved child and pulled her closer to her side before digging around in her pocket for a spare set of gloves.
" Soon enough, sweet child.." Elenwe would whisper softly to her child, hoping only the little one's ears would catch the words and that she would not stir the attention of others. " But for now, we must continue, and you must do you best to stay warm, Itarille.."
Finding success, the mother pulled a small set of lavendar gloves from her pocket and handed them to her daughter. " An extra set should aide you. Surely they can fit over the first pair." A warm caring smile was offered to the little one. Even in the darkest moments, some sense of warm and light could offer even the tiniest bit of hope.
