My beloved magpie pair Maudie & Papa for whom this Instagram Page was named! For those who are recent followers you probably don’t know them! It’s coming up 12 months since they lost their territory to a group of raiding magpies!💔 Maudie and Papa lived around our place for probably at least 15 years and becoming very friendly about 6 years ago when they introduced 3 babies! Probably not their first but they had realised we were friendly humans! Very special birds I still shed a tear for! We used to have many chats and spent a lot mod time together especially in the last couple of years! I may change the pages name, I’m not decided yet! But whatever happens I will post the occasional photo or video from time to time! This came up in FB memories and I remember it like it was yesterday!
