A little wake up (drabble)

Belphegor thought it was a great idea to catch a nap before you came from class. 

He wanted to attempt to be awake for you at least. You are the only other person he cares about besides his brothers (sometimes..). You always were happy to take naps with him or let him take naps in your room. He fond himself drawn to you and finally got the courage to ask you out and fearing the worst, he hid away until you managed to convince him you said yes and that you liked him back.

Belphie was happy and nearly was always found sleeping in your room from then on. Never ever sleeping in his own room any more. So today he helped himself to you bed and fell asleep. “It’s 1:24, actually. C’mon. Come to the kitchen with me,” he whispers, brushing hair from your face. 

“No,” you immediately groan, closing your eyes again. You hear him sigh and gently shake you. 

“I’m serious. I’m starving.”

“Well, duh. You slept through dinner. And why are you sounding so much like Beel?” He scoffs and sits up on his knees, pulling you up by your shoulders. 

“Just shut up and come with me,” he demands. You let out a long sigh, slowly reopening your eyes. 

“You’re annoying.” 

“I love you too,” he coos before giving you a kiss. He then scurries off the bed to head towards the kitchen with you.

"Days like these make me want to stay in bed even longer with you." 

You look over at Belphie when he says that, a smile stretching across his face. You two are laying down your bed, snuggled closely together. You giggle and snuggle even closer to him, giving his cheek a kiss. 

“Look at you being all soft and romantic,” you tease, absolutely beaming. It seems you’ve decided to replace the sun today with its absence. Belphie blushes, pouting as he playfully forces your face into his neck so that he doesn’t have to look at you. 

“I am not,” he grunts, staring out the window as rain pours down in heavy sleets. You only giggle more at his weak argument, placing butterfly kisses along his neck since he has forced you here. 

“You are. It’s cute,” you reassure softly, kissing up to his ear. “You should talk like that more often,” you whisper, pulling back to look at him. Yup, he’s still as red as a cherry. “You’re cute,” you continue, making him groan. He then decides it’s better to hide his face in your neck instead since you refuse to just cuddle up into him and fall asleep or to at least stop staring at him. 

“You know, it hasn’t rained this hard in years,” he mumbles against your warm skin, biting back a smile when you start to play with his hair. 

“It’s cause I’m here and I’m a blessing to this cursed land,” you reply playfully, making him chuckle quietly. 

“You are,” he whispers back. You wouldn’t have heard it if he wasn’t inches away from your ear. 

“Tell me something I don’t know,” you joke, closing your eyes and listening to the rain. He just hums in response before doing exactly what you’re doing. You two didn’t mean to fall asleep in each other’s arms but how could you not?
