As his brothers argued Belphegor stared in confusion, he didn’t know what was going on. All he knew was that the human that they were so infatuated with was hurt. At first, Belphegor couldn’t stand you. He hated humans with a passion, so he was iffy of you when you arrived. He even tried (and in another timeline did) kill you. But with all that, you still came around and treated him with love.

“What’s wrong with (y/n)?” Her aske debut was ignored. The others were talking and trying to figure out what to do.

“If I remove them again, she’ll die.”

“Die?! Then what the hell do we do?!” “Maybe we try to cure her of the disease.”

“But it’s one of love? She’ll die for sure if we leave it up to him.”

“I agree with Satan, She’s going to if we leave it up to him.”

“But we should at least try guys..”

Belphegor was slowly getting angry, they were purposely excluding him, irritating him. He stood up, visibly upset.

“WHY WON’T YOU TELL ME WHAT”S WRONG WITH (Y/N)?!”

Lucifer sighed. “Belphie Listen-”

Lucifer walks up to him, before glancing to the others, who gave him a nod. He places his shoulders on and Belphie’s with a saddened look on his face.

“(Y/n) is in love with you and currently dying from it.”

Belphie looked confused as all hell before Asmodeus stepped up. “(Y/n) has a special disease that affects a person who has feelings for someone who doesn’t return them. It causes flowers to grow in her lungs and infect her body.” He explained, “They usually are a color that resonates with the person they like.”

“Wait…I do remember her coughing and some blue flowers appeared. That’s what that was?? She told me it was a curse!” Satan sighed as he crossed his arms. “She probably didn’t want you to worry. You know how she is.” 

Belphegor stood frozen in place, he was having vivid flashbacks to seeing those flowers on your room floor, the image of you dead appearing in his head and he felt a pain in his chest.

“Where is she?”

“Diavolo is taking care of her.”

They couldn’t stop Belphegor from storming to Diavolo’s castle in a rage, he wanted to see you. He needed to see you. And it’s surprising that Diavolo allowed him back to see you. Belphie walked over and sat beside you, running a hand along your face. “(Y/n)...I’m sorry…” He mumbled. Looking down at you, you looked so broken and hurt, face drained of color, the mask over your face as you struggled to take deep breath. 

It was pitiful compared to the fiery human woman he knew you as. 

You cracked your eyes open, feeling someone near you, tilting your head, you see Belphegor putting your hand to his cheek. “Belphie?...” He shushes you, leaning down to place a kiss on your forehead.

“(Y/n), I promise, I’ll take care of you…I won’t let you get like this again..” You smile softly at him, gripping his hand. “I love you, you know that Belphie…” “I know…I know…I love you too..”

Belphie smiles sadly and kisses the hand in his, he placed it on his chest. It was a quiet vow that he made, letting you know that this would never ever happen again.

Lord Diavolo had to clear you to go back to your room, but you weren’t allowed to go to classes until the majority of the flowers disappeared. Because of the severity of the disease, you would still have them, but you could breathe fine. 

Belphegor was not moving your side, he was prepared to be by your side for the rest of your lives, and he was never going to allow something like that to happen again.

Hanahaki in Devildom: Orange Pansies

Beelzubub, The Avatar of Gluttony has your heart, and because he does it gives you a special version of the disease that threatens your life.

You had to have Beel and Mammon carry you back to your room, and when word got back to Lucifer, you couldn’t go to classes for a whole two weeks. And he still wanted to keep you out of school longer until you’re completely fine.

Using your pact with Belphie to summon him to your room, The Avatar of sloth finally appeared in you room, yawning at first before looking at you with shock and worry.

“Y/n? Are you okay?? Shit shit shit, hold on! I’m taking you back to your room!” Belphie picks you up off the floor. You groaned in pain as Belphie takes you to Beels and He’s shared room. He placed you on Beel’s bed and put his hand on your forehead.

“You’re on fire…is it that?..” He asked, knowing your condition.

Belphegor was the one who helped you diagnose your condition. 

Hanahaki disease, a disease of unrequited love. Flowers are doomed to fill in the body of the one infected and suffocate them if their love is not requited. You can also remove them magically or surgically, but thats only if it’s a very serious case.

Yours was a special case, your flowers were growing in your stomach because of your love for the Avatar of Gluttony. Beelzubub

Belphie waned you against falling for his twin, it was dangerously rare that Beel liked something more than food. So with liking the Avatar of gluttony, the disease settled in your stomach, wrapping around your stomach and insides causing you immense pain.

“Belphegor please…just put me to sleep or something, it hurts..please..” You begged and Belphie shook his head, bending down to be by your side. Placing a hand on your stomach, feeling the thorns and prickly flowers. Belphegor was fighting inside with himself, he knew that you were a human and that putting you into a sleep may solve your pain temporarily, but what if you don’t wake up? What if the pain is too much? He doesn’t want to harm you.

Belphie sighs before moving  to place a hand on your forehead, a sensation courses through you and you let out a soft sigh of relief.

Suddenly the room door slammed opened causing Belphie to whip his head around.

“Belphie! Is (y/n) okay-”

Beelzubub stood in the doorway, concern on his face as his eye widened before he ran and pushed the sloth demon away from you.

“What the Hell?!”

“She asked me to! She’s in Pain Beel!”

You watched as the twins argued above you, as you cried out in pain, feeling as the vines tightened around your stomach.

“What does using your magic have to do with it!?” “She is in pain because of you!”

“How!?”

“Cause she’s in love with you!”

It got really silent as the brothers stared at each other as if shocked by what was said by Belphie.

“W-what?..”

Beel looked down at you, you gave him a sheepish smile before Beel leaned down to place his forehead against yours. “You were in love with me?..and you didn’t tell me!?” He yelled and you felt awful, mentally and physically. You thought just because he was known to not love anything more than food that you were doomed to love him and die from it.

“Y/n…why…” Beel said softly and Belphie sighed. “It’s a disease that came about suddenly, it can spread slowly or rapidly, in y/n case..she got unlucky and it spread quickly.” Belphie headed to the door and looked at the two of you. “You two have your moment. I’ll go get the others..”

Belphie smiled and left leaving you and Beel alone. As soon as he left, his lips was on yours, his strong arms wrapping around your body as if you were about to disappear if he were to let go of you. You couldn’t do anything but kiss back, internally smiling, as you felt relief in your stomach.

Beel wouldn’t let go of you, he held onto you tightly, as it was still hitting them that if he wouldn;t have come into this room , you might have gone to sleep and never wake up. 

“Beel..Beel you can let go now..I’m okay..”

“No.”

So instead of eating alone, you have to be monitored by Beel to make sure nothing else happens to you, he even feeds you to prevent anything from happening to you. 

That’s what you were currently doing, sitting in Beel’s lap as he feeds you something he prepared with Lucifer’s help to make sure it was safe for you.
