Mitsuya is not a boring character.

He has an interesting backstory, he has an interesting arc, and he also has an interesting personality that shapes him into this very unique character. Not to mention, about how the other characters connect to him.

Mitsuya is one of the characters that has pretty good consistency throughout the series. From the Twin To Dragon chapter to the Steel The Show chapter, and also his other sporadic appearance in any other chapters.

It's not his fault, that he doesn't shine as much as others, especially when Wakui seems to put him aside after his arc, or when Wakui doesn't need him.

If you think about it, this dragon mural is like their sacred place, y'know?

Like somewhere only they know.

We all know, Draken often comes here alone, even without Mitsuya, and I doubt he will bring anyone but him because nobody understands this art like Draken and Mitsuya.

This art had become an integral part of Draken and Mitsuya's life. This dragon is very special and no one can ever understand the magnitude of its significance.

I think, for Draken, bringing Mitsuya back to this mural is his way to remind him, that they have a special bond and will always do. Even if Mitsuya had covered his dragon, he will always be Draken's twin dragons.

And this place, this place will always be a memorable place only for the two of them.

the greatest thing about twin dragons is that they're completely accidental.

which is awesome, because it proves that the connection between draken and mitsuya is not fabricated at all.

like, they met each other, and they just clicked with each other, and later after they bid their goodbyes (with no promise to meet again, nonetheless), they somehow decide to get a tattoo. with the same design, on the same body area.

like, what are the chances?

I don't believe in soulmate, but it's hard when you look at them and not getting heebie-jeebies about the possibility of soulmate, that there are really people who destined to be with us, no matter what happened.

my first ship of tr. they fitted the whole 'dark haired-light haired ship', 'one of them died' ship, and basically ticked every box of my fave ship category lmao If I don't fall to doramitsu hellhole, I might be too deep in this trench. I was quite invested with them before doramitsu started hijacking my brain

kokonui/inukoko

they're the first ship I've written. I mean, you can't expect me to see them kiss and not get 'oh yes they're matched in heaven' right? they're very fun to write too, one of my favorite side couples

wakashin/shinwaka

this ship surprised me because I'm never into sano fam that much. but somehow I like the vibe of wakashin. I remember, the doramitsu artist I followed started shipping them, and then I was like, "oh wow you have a vision 👀"

yuzusen/senyuzu

MY FAVORITE LESBIAN COUPLE 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 like??? both are strong and I love the vibe of the older sister and youngest child they bring. yuzusen is very precious to me. I wish I could write a more comprehensive fic of them, not just as side-chara :")

the only canon straight couples that I approve 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ I love the girlies so much, despite they don't appear much in canon. I love bringing life to yasuda and yumi, they're my favorite characters :") I enjoyed writing pah and peh when they're with them

I love to write them in comparison to mature couple that is doramitsu 🤣 they're more childish and definitely disaster duo (esp. considering mikey's antics). I love when doramitsu babysit them 🤣🤣🤣

ACCHAN AND TORA MY BELOVED?!!! I didn't expect I would end up loving them. I always picture kazutora to thirdwheeling bajifuyu tbh lmao but then akkun came and yesssssss they're so cute together!!! 🥺🥺🥺🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

other ships that I don't actively search for but still like them enough:

- bajimai (I remember a reader of mine told me they wanna fill the tags, just like me filling doramitsu tag)

- fuyutake (I kinda see the appeal bcs of hami hehe)

that's all for now, I'm pretty much doramitsu-oriented, I don't pay much attention to other ships.

in conclusion, I'm very very very basic. I just happened to like doramitsu a lil bit more than all of those ships, that I ended up being this ship's crew.

I think it's okay if Draken and Mitsuya want to live a boring life. Just them trying to navigate their way through adulthood, experiencing things that seem dull & uninteresting. As long as they're going through it together, everything doesn't need to be extraordinary or anything.

The most important thing is how to find beauty in those little boring life. How to make the ordinary become extraordinary. And I'm confident to say that they're always gonna find the wonder of everything ♡

about doramitsu in tokrev live action 2

okay, apparently there's a very strong doramitsu scene in the movie 2 that several jp fans are referring some scene as coffeeshop date? 👀

they sound very excited about this while also trying to not give away the spoilers 😭 arrrghhhhhhh i wanna see the movie too

I wonder if they're talking about this scene where toman founders meeting, or if it was the additional scene 🤔

Maybe Draken and Mitsuya arrive early?

It's just, I love how excited Draken was to show Baji and Kazutora about Mitsuya's creation 😭 What a proud bf 🥰🩷

Since apparently the coffeeshop scene is additional scene, I wonder if it's just alteration of the manga or completely new scene.

I posted the translation version (it's bit wonky, I know), as to not give away the poster. they're a doramitsu shipper and that's what I'm focusing on.

I'm completely guessing here but, it seemed that Mitsuya being boinked in the head is Draken's turning point to turn against Valhalla? 🤔

Also, the coffeeshop scene seemed very pivotal, knowing how excited jp doramitsu shippers were about this.

I truly can't wait for the movie to be premiered in my country (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)
