I'm in love with my NaNo novel, not because I'm getting a lot written (I'm under 300 words right now), but because I'm getting to explore a whole other side of the universe I've created and the complexity of the conflicts and the diversity of the people reacting to those conflicts. World-building and weaving new plots together that have only ever been briefly shown in previous is so awesome :D
How convenient it must be, to have such luxury while our people live in the fear that their homes will be the next overrun by fire or flood.
